Writivate exists to widen the path into life-sciences careers, and that commitment starts with making our website and programs usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Our goal

We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

What we're doing

Using clear headings and page structure so content works with screen readers
Adding descriptive alternative text to meaningful images
Writing in plain language wherever we can
Paying attention to color contrast and readable text sizes
Working to provide captions or transcripts for video and audio content in our programs
Reviewing new pages and content with accessibility in mind

Known limitations

Our website and learning platform are hosted on Kajabi, a third-party platform, and some features, such as checkout, login, and embedded media, are controlled by that provider. We work within those tools to improve accessibility, but some areas may not yet fully meet our goal. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we're continuing to review and improve the Site.

Accommodations in our programs

If you have a disability and need an accommodation to participate in one of our courses or programs, such as alternative formats, extended time, or assistive-technology support, please contact us. We'll work with you to find a reasonable solution, and we can connect you with partner organizations that offer additional support where appropriate.
